The beaches are famous throughout Europe with long stretches of soft white sand and sparkling clear Mediterranean sea. Each boasts the European Blue Flag awarded for clean beaches and totally unpolluted water.

Take in the views at Alicante harbour while enjoying a cool beer or take a guided tour of Alicante castle at night! Take a trip to Benidorm Place where you can see some of the leading shows, or enjoy the nightlife in the many bars and restaurants in the town.  The Old Town makes an interesting detour from the more modern hotels you might associate with Benidorm.  Or you might like to take a boat trip from El Campello along the coast, stopping off at Calpe for some lunch! Or take a look at Villa Joyosa´s chocolate box town and the Valor Chocolate museum!

Terra Natura, Aqualandia, Terra Mitica and Mundomar are all within just a few minutes drive, and you can even get their by train from the many stops along the coast. There is lots for children to do...and adults too!

Most of the local towns hold large colourful street markets and spectacular fiestas and processions take place all year round.
